About me‍

Studio Goof is Artist, Illustrator and Designer Julia Boehme connecting  drawing, comics and a playful approach to graphic-design to create all sorts of printed matter, zines, exhibitions, books, posters and editorial illustrations.

She often draws a dog-, cat- or human-like character that she places in all sorts of adventures while using different techniques. Usually her work turns out very personal. poetic and fun. Sometimes the work is very detailed, sometimes she enjoys abstraction, like in the papercut book ‚Mind the Back‘. She has mostly self-published her works, mostly in small hand-printed editions, riso-/ lino- or silkscreen-printed. In 2020 she published 'Pantocrator' together with Knust Press. She also enjoys making tour posters due to her love for music and plays the guitar in her band Mellie.
